My name is Nikita. I am 41 years old. I live in Moscow.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with OU optic nerve atrophy due to intoxication. I tried various treatment methods, but it was not possible to stop the decline in visual acuity.
In August 2025, at the Mardaleishvili Clinic, I underwent a transplantation of my own stem cells. The cells were injected into the eye, the orbit, and the cerebrospinal fluid. At that time, my visual acuity was 0.2 in the right eye and 0.3 in the left eye.
In January 2026, I visited my ophthalmologist because I noticed a significant improvement in my vision. The examination recorded the following results: right eye — 90% vision, left eye — 100% vision. Perimetry also showed a significant expansion of the visual field.
As of today, these results have been maintained, and my overall health has improved significantly. I have returned to a full life and was even able to drive again.
